Our history
KIT SHIPYARD SERVICES LID was founded on the heritage of the Okean Shipyard (Mykolaiv, Ukraine), which since the mid-20th century built over 200 vessels, embedding efficiency and scalability into our DNA. In 1970s, with one of Europe’s largest dry docks Ocean started it’s high-tech shipbuilding era.
With Euroinvest as a strategic partner, KIT Shipyard merged this tradition with modern financial and management resources, opening access to new markets and technologies.
Expansion accelerated with the acquisition of Inepar assets in Brazil and partnerships across the Arabian Gulf with ASRY, SWAN Group, SAFEEN Dry Docks, and Abu Dhabi Ports. Together, we are planning a new shipyard dedicated to large-tonnage vessels for the oil and gas industry.
Today, KIT SHIPYARD SERVICES LID stands as a global player — honouring what’s imbedded in it’s history while driving innovation in complex, sustainable, and large-scale shipbuilding projects worldwide.
