product Characteristics

White Whale series ice-breaking azimuth thrusters are specially designed for ice breaking and navigation in polar regions. Its ice-breaking grade index has reached the highest level in the world.

The product is designed with a high-strength streamlined underwater shell, giving consideration to high speed and safety. Equipped with reliable main drive system, this series features a maximum output power of 15000 kW, and high-strength propeller blades that can mill the ice ridges, realising two-way ice breaking at the bow and stern. The artificial intelligence technology is highly integrated with navigation control, and the optimal mode of multi-propeller joint propulsion is automatically selected, delivering safer and more efficient navigation. With real-time monitoring and fault automatic diagnosis capabilities, the product is easy to use and maintain. Its low-noise, zero-leakage and non-pollution design makes it possible to meet the environmental protection requirements in polar regions.

White Whale series ice-breaking azimuth thrusters can be used for, among others, transportation, exploration and scientific investigation, emergency rescue, tour and sightseeing so as to help achieve the national polar oceangoing strategy.
