The motor is integrated with the thruster without a thruster shaft, and the casing is used as the bore of stator to improve the hydrodynamic force.

It has a good prospect in submarines, and is an ideal choice for unmanned submarine propulsion systems. Also, it can be applied to underwater weapons such as high-performance torpedoes. At present, we are engaging the technical research and development of 800-1600 kW shaftless thrusters.
